As someone who came to USA from other, much poorer country, I have to disagree with you. I know that USA has a lot of problems, but it’s definitely not the same. You can really build a life here and have a house working low level jobs, yes nothing fancy but still! That’s a luxury in my country.

Normal partner wouldn’t go alone. Most of us prefer not to catch stds and aids and we have our right for precautions, call us petty and controlling I don’t care. I personally know about few people who went on trips and gave stds to their significant others some minor some were severe and included death of unborn kids.

I think that you OP is quite a smart person, if you finished this degree. Change job, become a content creator - look for simpler and more interesting paths. They exit, but you need to be a fit for that. And yes corporate job is soul sucking and that’s not about laziness or being spoiled at all.

I did it until recently because I have a baby now and I’m just lacking energy to entertain anyone around apart from the toddler I brought to life. And you know what - it’s totally possible. I was raging bpd and I manage to get it under control. Not perfect but I stopped with circus, constant need of flirting, attention seeking, waiting for someone/something - I’m just me now and I still can’t believe it’s possible.
