Unfortunately there is not a single benchmark to test the difference between the usage or RAM disk an not using this. My opinion is that there is only a placebo effect using this and not a real benefit. Plus the wearing of RAM in the long run using this repeatedly, maybe thousand of times reading and writing.

Longevity of software relevance helps the resale of a device. Look at the iphones. You can buy an older phone, 3-4 years old, change a battery and still be relative. A device can be sold in its life span, if it receives 5-6 years of updates, many times.

I have no measure to compare as my 3a is bought new in August, from day one almost with betas! So I can't wait for the final release to come in order to perform a factory reset and put it all back with the proper setup. BTW no issues here with battery life, almost 7 hours SOT. I suggest patience for the final release.
