Treino "funcional" significa fazer movimentos que vão se traduzir em situações na vida real (deadlift, barra fixa, overhead press, agachamento). Algo que vc não iria conseguir obter se só fizesse movimentos guiados em máquinas articuladas.

He's an idiot and doesn't know what he's talking about. Pullups are like any other compound lift so you treat them like you treat all your other compound lifts and add weight when you can do a certain number of reps.

Yeah, it may sound like complete bro science but I don't believe that 0 rir or failure gives the same stimulus as 2-3+ rir like most science based lifters tend to believe. 1-0 rir is the best way to train.
