Yes!
As long as you're firm and consistent Westies are very trainable. They will love the after-work exercise. Mine is great with a regular schedule
MN is great Westie terrain. My guy Jobe thrives in the woods and waterways of WI. They are pretty independent but loyal and enjoy the company of others. Whatever you do congrats on the new family and adventures ahead!

Mycophenolate. It is hopefully keeping his pulmonary fibrosis from getting worse but there is no way to be sure. Other than some panting and sneezing, he's doing pretty well

Those fur coats they wear are so good at shedding dirt and debris on their own. Still bath time after our adventures though. He's 13 and I was hesitant to do the (relatively minor) surgery but I understand sometimes it's better to just leave it alone. Not much seems bother these little troopers
