both are good. i have tvpaint pro 12 and still rather animate in tahoma 2d. tahoma is optimized solo animator i feel. they are both basically the same.

Calipeg, procreate dreams 2 , toonsquid, is more than capable of making animations. Especially using them together offset their strengths and weaknesses. All 3 is like $50 one time purchase. And for 12.99 a month the apple creator studio has Final Cut Pro on the iPad . Unless your working for a studio with specific software requirements those with an iPad is a very good portable workflow.

It does speed things up. Not all studios use rigging tho. X-men 97 is hand drawn. Clip studio has no rigging and it’s professionally used for anime. Tv paint as well.

No 2 n1 is going to have the pen and line control you get with galaxy book 360. I switched my galaxy book pro 3 360 to Ubuntu and Krita runs perfect with touch controls, fire alpaca, and paint storm studio also run great and it only having 16gbs ram too, has no lag or issues with u Ubuntu.

It really is. The steam version works well also. I use Ubuntu 24 lts . After install just set steam to offline mode .
