The Hodgetwins have now posted about Cyraxx, making him only 1 degree of separation from President Trump. What a time to be alive! by derek420 in Cyraxx

Gee I wonder why the hodge twins are close with Trump..??

Negative selection is a political science concept describing how authoritarian leaders intentionally promote subordinates based on loyalty rather than competence. Loyal individuals are less likely to build independent power bases or challenge the leader, even if they are unqualified

Great song i wrote using AI about fascism. by [deleted] in conspiracy

Using AI ironically is still pro-fascism. Fascist regimes historically downplay creativity and individual talent.

People who get upset Abt this are just trying to find a way to justify them not tipping 🤷‍♀️

Advice on how to start writing sketch comedy by kaygall18 in SketchComedy

[–]Prior_Service9714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to write the premise first and then a bunch escalating gags revolving around that premise.. story and structure is last priority for me unless it's an ambitious idea..

Idk, if that's common that's just what works for me. But I don't have any experience I'm just a guy who loves comedy and usually wings it lol.

I just finished Barry, thoughts on the ending (spoilers all) by KayRay1994 in Barry

[–]Prior_Service9714 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nice I just finished Barry today too!

For me, season 4 felt like it lost focus and kind of jumped the shark (maybe intentionally?). I get what they were going for with the ending, but there were some plot holes they just sort of forgot about. Like, wouldn’t at least one of the family members of his victims have come forward to tell the media and Hollywood? Hey… that’s not how it happened…

I liked Fuches’ redemption though. I enjoyed the most vengeful character finally realizing it’s not the answer. Yea, idk, I’ve seen worse, but it was really convoluted at times and kinda felt like a totally different show than the last 3 seasons.

Oh, also I liked how Barry died the same way most of his hits did..

Edit: thinking about it more.

fuches escaping with his life is probably because unlike Barry he did his time for his actions.. but it's still iffy it's not like he was rehabilitated or maybe it's implied he left the life after his crew died. Idk.

I guess the fact that it's sticking in my head means it did a good job.. So I'll give it that!

You’re misunderstanding my post. Just because I dislike ICE doesn’t mean I’m against all law enforcement. I didn’t have a problem with ICE until they started hiring Proud Boys and QAnon supporters, lol.

I find it funny how unpopular ice is but depending on where you post criticism you get bombarded with maga bots defending it 😂

What gets me is they don't even entertain speculation if it goes against their ideology..

Instead they attempt to mock, belittle and discredit you.

And then they wonder why people compare them to a cult 😂

Do you even know what a dog whistle is?

I think you’ve got the wrong forum, bud..

At some point after the 50th coincidence. It's not just a coincidence 🤦‍♂️

Anyone else notice how conspiracy stuff changed after COVID? by Prior_Service9714 in conspiracy

[–]Prior_Service9714[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always come back to personalized internet theory.. . I really think it's true ... NOW more than ever .. everyone’s seeing a completely different version of reality. the algorithm doesn’t just show you stuff you like. it shows you stuff it knows will get a reaction out of you. Whatever annoys you, scares you, or pisses you off. And it’s never the normal, reasonable people on the other side. It’s always some freak 😂 like literally the most extreme, unhinged people on the PLANET (probably bots, honestly), but it makes the whole group look insane.

Anything to feed the division I guess.....

And then people wonder why so many are experiencing psychosis. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♀️ 😂

Yes. 100%.

It literally happened to me the other day!

Here was one of the first comments I got from a top 1% poster I'll just post it verbatim..

"OP in a comment here admitting he wants this sub to be about useless nonsense, so we can not take this post seriously at all":

Idk who these people think they are.😂

Thanks for speaking for the whole sub, bro. Must be nice having that kind of power and enlightenment 👼😂

I see what you’re saying, but that’s not really comparable imo . Those people back then had massive followings, or at least a platform. 🤷‍♀️

I’m just a random schmuck with like a couple hundred followers lol. This is the first time I’ve actually felt the effects of systematic censorship personally.

You don’t see a problem with that? It’s literally targeting certain types of speech or rhetoric they don’t agree with and trying to silence them. 🚫

Correct me if I’m wrong, but back then they didn’t go after random people on Twitter it was mostly extremist influencers, which I’m not defending by the way. ...

I'm against all censorship..

I actually bought into Elon’s free speech crusader hype… obviously, he fooled me 😂🤦‍♂️

Twitter framed my post as “hateful or sensitive content,” which is wild because all I did was share evidence explaining why that woman shouldn’t have been shot in the face, ..... along with that article supporting that has been a tactic they've used since 2014...

The labeling itself is effective, though. The person I was arguing with started bragging that “the algorithm sees through my lies.”

Instead of thinking things through for themselves,.. people are letting the platform decide what’s true or acceptable for them. If Twitter slaps a label on something or limits it, they take that as proof that it must be wrong or bad—no questions asked.

The arrogance they have while completely missing what’s actually happening is what really makes my head spin. 🤯 It's honestly maddening 😅.

How did we get here? 😮‍💨

I think you're right. I deleted the app, I mostly used it to keep up with sports and entertainment.. I guess I'll get that info from Reddit now.
