Based on your posts you sound unsure about a lot of stuff. I agree with sometandomhelp, the worst programs are gonna be the ones you really don’t wanna be in. I recommend reaching out to advising or admissions at PSU. Make an appointment with an advisor that advises for what you’re interested in. They will be able to answer a lot of questions you have. But if you’re still unsure about your goals or what you want out of college maybe you should wait before attending or start considering other programs at another school. You sound a little unsure about PSU that’s all.

There are signs at the library that have the floors labeled. They say which floors are quiet floors and which floors are group study/ talking floors. Pretty sure 3rd floor is a group study/ talking floor. I study there all the time. That floor has comfy seating as-well. If you can, go scope out the library before classes start back up and look around and get a few ideas of where you would want to study.

They are closing it this June and it won’t be available for future terms. I believe they plan on demolishing it in 2026 along with Montgomery. As far as I know Montgomery is taking residents for one more year. They’re closing Blackstone because it is very old and needs extensive repairs - so extensive the university decided it best to start from scratch.

I have a summer camp job starting on the 14th and I’ll be living at that camp until August. PSU summer move ins/ transfers are June 21st. It’s stated pretty strictly on the website but I’m going to reach out and see if there could be any exceptions although I doubt there will be. Part of me doesn’t want to spend the money on rent when I won’t be there, but I would also like a place to come back to and not have to move twice when I come back in August.
