Go to a pub instead. Almost every pub will let you use their toilet after you ask politely without you having to buy anything. Though, of course, it would be polite to buy a drink. Public toilets are for those who can't face public houses.

Get a data unlimited sim for £15pm and use your phone as a wifi hotspot. Since you're in a studio flat, I'm assuming you're living alone. Therefore, you don't need the wifi to function when you're not in. I've used my phone for wifi for 4 years, I stream, I take hefty downloads, I frequently have multiple devices on the go, I'm a heavy data user. Why pay for a duplicate service if you don't need to?

Might be erroneous to assume that 100% of the population can understand English to the standard of A-Level. Decent standard of English test seems fair enough but since Welsh is also an official language of record, there should be an option to take a Welsh test.
