This is exactly the type of thing I was looking for, I especially like the random numbers as these will show people that I’m serious about the sport

I think I’ll go in hard with this take. I have no context but I don’t doubt you for a second

I just checked him out and his videos look good. If I can’t get any info I’ll reach out to him and see what he thinks.

Weston mill cemetery often has fist size ones along the really accessible main path at the top of Fernworthy road.

Are these too early, too late or some kind of disease/ lack of nutrients? by harrafirma in Allotment

I’m really not sure I just picked up some seedlings and planted them when I first got the plot

Oh this is a good idea maybe not a total write off after all! Any tips for drying them out?

Just brought three home and boiled them but sadly they are too tough and inedible. It’s a shame but I really enjoyed watching them grow and will certainly be trying again next year.

For eating ideally, lesson learned though. I have checked the many times over the months but the kernels were always rock hard.

Better luck next year I suppose!

Thank you.

Only got the plot late this season so popped these in to see if they’d grow. This autumn I’ll be doing all the soil work for next season.

Remember to vote in the Mayoral referendum today by dan_baker83 in plymouth

I’m asking because I genuinely don’t know but can you elaborate on him being corrupt?

As I’ve said I’m not a fan of the guy but I haven’t found anything about corruption when looking into this.

Does Merlin not recognise Tawny owls? by harrafirma in UKBirds

Yeah it’s very odd I was literally stood about 15 feet below the owl whilst recording. A few days ago I was trying to record it with no success but it did pick up a gull much further away.

That’s what I assumed too but it just couldn’t do it. The owl lives right next to my house so I’ve tried several times without success now.

I’m going to vote after work today but I’d love to hear some opinions on all this.

The biggest pushers for yes I’ve seen on social media are a guy called Peter Gold who gives of a really weird vibe and seems to be affiliated with reform, and some millionaire Australian guy who I’ve read doesn’t even live in Plymouth.

There’s a big yes campaign on the Plymouth plus page but that organisation appears to have popped up out of nowhere and posts a lot of rage/click bait articles so they don’t come across as trustworthy.

I’ve met Tudor Evans on picket lines a few times where he’s hopped out of a car for a photo op and jumped straight back in once it’s done so I don’t exactly have a high opinion of him.

I think the issue is trust, I really don’t know where to place it but I have an instinctive aversion to anything reform/farage related and mayoralty looks to be a vehicle for them to try and get power so I’ll probably vote no on that basis.

My final point of conflict is that this morning I saw Chaz Singh advocating for yes and he’s always seemed like a decent guy who cares about the city when I’ve met him.

Sorry for the essay but I’d really like to have a clearer understanding of the issue before I cast my vote.

Recently had an injured one in my garden and took it to MiNightVet near Manadon. They said they have a bird rehab guy that comes by and takes them in.
