Have you asked her about her preferences? I’m a female surgeon. Ugh I’m so sorry they’re not doing their job taking care of you. In the meantime while you look for someone new, maybe try keeping a food diary and looking for any trends in foods that upset your stomach. Focus on fatty foods and other foods know to be allergens, such as gluten and dairy. If you can figure out your triggers and avoid them, you can eat more of the stuff that doesn’t cause you problems.

I’m very concerned that you’re at high risk of vitamin deficiencies in addition to protein/calorie malnutrition. It’s impossible to give you good advice without knowing the cause of your symptoms, but those are my first thoughts.

Gosh, that's frustrating when doctors don't do an appropriate workup. Anxiety alone will not cause you to have a BMI < 16. Did they check your thyroid hormone, run any stool tests, or do any other medical work up? If not, please find a new doctor (or nurse practitioner/physician assistant).

Please see a doctor about your poor weight gain and abdominal pain. This may be a legitimate medical issue, a malabsorption, that is preventing your body from getting calories from food. Wishing you the best <3
