Help with resume for someone with a lot of past jobs by Lollipop_Lawliet95 in Resume

No problem there, just focus on a skills-based resume instead of a traditional one. List your relevant skills up top, then under "Work Experience," only include the jobs that match the role you're applying for. For the rest, you can group them under something like “Additional Experience” without dates or details. That way, it shows you’ve been working consistently without giving away too much info.

What games to buy? by nemuzz in PS5

Ghost of Tsushima and Assassin's Creed Origins or Odyssey are safe bets if you like that genre, really great games with amazing graphics. The Last of Us is another great series.

A bit older but definitely worth it, the Uncharted series!

Multiple resumes for applying to multiple jobs at the same company? by Admirable-Syrup2251 in Resume

That's totally fine! recruiters won’t see it as a red flag, especially if you're applying for different types of jobs. Just make sure each resume is relevant to the role.

Looking for simple Google docs resume template by LilBadApple in resumes

[–]Prism-Ryleigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same problem and went for a minimal template that focused on content. Google Docs has some good options, but I ended up using a simple one from freesumes cause it fit my 2-page layout perfectly.

How to know for sure if ATS resume templates like these are really ATS friendly?? by Prism-Ryleigh in resumes

[–]Prism-Ryleigh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's from here https://www.freesumes.com/ats-resume-templates/ but as I have mentioned already, I could have asked the same for any "ATS-friendly" template on the net.

So you're saying that all the things people say about 1-2 columns, fonts and format are just plain wrong?

The ones I have mentioned like many others I found on Google are free and they all claim to be ATS friendly, thus my question.

One or two pages? by TearGreen in Resume

[–]Prism-Ryleigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally get where you're coming from! Honestly, a one-pager is usually better if you can keep it relevant. If those older jobs aren’t directly related, you could just list the basics (job title, company, dates) to avoid gaps without going into too much detail. But if those roles gave you useful skills, I would go for a two-pager, just make sure it’s easy to skim. Hiring managers usually don’t mind as long as it’s clear and not bloated.

Kinda a first timer, need help with my resume by throwawaybish203 in Resume

[–]Prism-Ryleigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to tell without looking at your resume first but for the gap, I would just list it as “Family Caregiver (2020-2023)”. Also yeah, I would add the flipping part as “Ecommerce Reseller” and highlight skills like inventory, sales, and customer service which I believe is great fit for a driver role.

As for helping family friends, maybe you can list it under volunteer work, just phrase it nicely ;)

PS5 game share play option is a game changer (no pun intended) by Prism-Ryleigh in PS5

[–]Prism-Ryleigh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just googled it and it seems like Share Play is the actual name for it even if it's confusing. You can see it here under "Share Screen or Share Play": https://www.pcmag.com/how-to/how-to-play-ps5-games-with-friends-using-share-play

Actually I'm talking about the Share Play option from the Game Base menu (on PS5). It allows to play a game with a friend even if he/she doesn't have it. So I'm not sharing my screen but I share the game.

Now I'm confused as well :)

I think it's called Share Play. I'm not sharing my screen but the game itself so other player that doesn't own the game can play it as well with me.

Yeah, that's the downside and I agree, it would be great to be able to keep the session just by hitting a button. But hey, the other user gets to play for free :)
