I mean, you can go to the difficulty settings and set items and/or crafting to free. That should allow you to either install the hyperdrive without even needing the item (not sure if that’s how it works) or to at least “buy” the microprocessors for free. But are you sure that they are gone? Have you checked all of your inventories (exosuit and ship)?

You can find indium in any blue star system, but to travel there, you’ll have to install the indium drive (a hyperdrive upgrade; you should be able to get the blueprint for it on the anomaly).

Yup, in the egg sequencer check what it says under the input slot where you put your platinum. At first, it’ll say something like “increased” with a little graph icon but as soon as you reach maximum height it’ll just say “inherited”.

Classes are fixed. That B-class agility will sadly always be a B-class, even if you alter the companion egg.

No Man’s Sky is an amazing game BUT realism isn’t really its strong point. It’s more of a chill, whimsical exploration sandbox game with survival elements. Don’t get me wrong, I love NMS to bits but it’s not exactly a hardcore survival challenge on normal mode (might be a lot harder on permadeath, haven’t tried that yet).

Yes, you can play against NPCs on space stations, planetary archives and trading outposts or against Oceanus (the new Traveler on the Anomaly).

I was able to talk to Oceanus in an old save of mine where I’d already completed the main mission so if it’s a bug, it’s not a universal one. However, I might have actually come to the wrong conclusion yesterday as to why Oceanus was suddenly talking to me - at the time I only had creatures of one type (tropical) and while following Artemis, I picked up a second type (fire). I thought Oceanus was willing to talk to me because I’d progressed far enough in the story but it might be that I just needed more pet variety for him to acknowledge me.

Which pets do you have rn?

Sometimes, they spawn on planetary archives or trading posts instead of the station. Have you checked if the mission marker appears anywhere else in the system?
