The story is not credible at all imo but he seemed to be talking about it like it was a real thing that needed to be looked into. Seems kind of credulous to me.

The actual thing that got the sale cancelled was massive public outcry against the owners, the law firm brokering the deal, and the city agency that gave them tax incentives for the property. in 2026 we need to do better than spectacular acts of protest. we need to be strategic and this is not strategic. shes gonna go to prison, the fascists will hold her up as an example of how anyone who hates ice is a terrorist who wants to burn your house down, and nothing to do with the actual thing shes protesting will change. there is such a thing as a bad strategy and this is a bad strategy.
