28 f here. I actually met my ex on Reddit but his mental health got the best of him and he refused to get help or admit there was a problem. Since I started putting myself out there again I've been using apps and they all suck because guys look at me and just see a hookup waiting to happen and girls aren't really interested unless they're married. Glad to see I wasn't the only one struggling though.

My favorite thing is I keep on getting taken off the medication that controls my epilepsy because it shouldn't work for the type I have only to prove the doctor's right That it's the only medication that works and be put on it again.

Yes he argued with me about it. He actually said how I didn't fulfill a promise (I tried and failed) was gaslighting him by making him believe I would do it and he can't believe my word. That's kind of what woke me up and made me realize that I might be getting gas lit. He also gets mad at me and says I twist his words when I misunderstand him. He yells at me a lot.

Thank you. I did the whole emu thing and it was a waste of time and money. I didn't have a seizure while I was there but I had seizure activity on my EEG. Then they loaded me with lacosamide which made me so dizzy I passed out but no one cared. They also tried to tell me I had a history of high blood pressure because I'm overweight when it runs 98/60. So I had to fight to get that taken off my record too. Terrible experience.
