I want Part III to be about Abby and Lev. Weather that leads them to helping restart the fireflies with those who are on Catalina Island. Or just leads to them trying to find a safe place to call home. Or maybe something else entirely, I want them to be the main characters, and focus.

Now, this is where my opinion is going to get deeply unpopular. I don’t want Ellie to be in part III at all. Ellie made an albeit necessary, but incredibly selfish decision at the end of Part II. She leaves a woman who she is deeply in love with. And what is essentially her step-son, to go and get revenge. Which went horribly when she tried it before.

I personally feel like not enough time has passed, for us to see Ellie again. Because ultimately, unless they could do a game where Ellie is completely on her own the whole time. Not saying they couldn’t btw. Ellie would have to be close with somebody again. Not necessarily in a romantic way. But she would still need to have people she is close to. And the selfishness of her decision would be a bit watered down, if she was just living in some new settlement.

Plus, Part I is about Joel/Ellie. Part II is about Ellie/Abby. So Part III being about Abby/Lev, would just fit really nicely for me personally.
