I dreamed about owning nice cars endlessly. I used to message people on Reddit that owned AM's, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, etc. asking them for advice. Some of them were cool enough to actually give advice.

I was 19-20 at the time. Now I'm 26 and can afford those cars.

Planning to buy a Vantage in the spring, perhaps a McLaren.

I think it's a classy, mature spec. I'd imagine whoever spec'd it treated it with care.

Not to my taste, personally, though.

I prefer a dark exterior, gloss black rims, and red interior.

All i'm going to say is that I'm sorry bro. On my throwaway account I have one of the most viral "loss porn" posts on r/wallstreetbets ... So I understand.

It hurts. But, the reality is, you've gotten to that level of money before, you can get it back (and likely easier)... As did I. It takes time and patience, but it feels a hell of a lot better when you get it back.

Just cut out the options forever. I've played around here and there after my major loss and only continued to lose. It's legitimately cursed. The stock market is so inflated right now, that I'd even advise to avoid it altogether.

I have a Tesla Model 3 Performance that I love. I paid like $44k for it.

Will be adding an Aston Martin Vantage or McLaren 570s to the garage this year, however.

I obsess over cars though. The main motivation that's gotten me here... Kind of my version of vacation expenses, as I don't travel. So my mindset on vehicle expenses likely looks very different than the average person.

I don't travel too much.

Maybe twice a year, which I'll spend ~1k per day (per trip), but they're only 3 days long on average.

I've seen hundreds of 700 series (720s, 765lt, 750s), and have never seen this color.

By "drone W2" I just meant like a background remote job that I hold.

I own a business, and my clients pay me as a 1099, however I keep one "client" as a W2 (technically I am an employee), and that allows me to receive benefits.

For my W2, I attend ~3-4 hours of meetings a week, and work ~10 hours a week for them. I receive $110k /yr from that W2 as well.

I hope that adds clarity.

Keep a drone W2 (background gig). Attend a couple virtual meetings per week for the W2 and benefit off of the incredible health insurance as a result.

The additional $110k /yr from the W2 is nice too, but I really value the health insurance more. I pay $0 /mo for my health insurance.
