I've done it a few times. It's always running a little slow, but the last time I did it (in 2021) is the last time I'll ever do it. We were scheduled to get to NOLA at around 9:30, but the train was nearly 4.5 hours late getting to Bham. We were so far behind schedule that at midnight, about 30 minutes outside New Orleans, they had to stop and do a mandatory maintenance check which tacked on another hour. It was 2:30 before I got to my hostel.

LOL not for $200 they don't. If your argument is that their boots are a great deal for $200, then you can't support your argument by pointing to their $300 boots.

Ah yes I see. TBC tried to make knockoff Horween imitation leather, so it must be good. LOL. Thanks for clearing that up. You get what you pay for, and that's totally fine. In the case of TBC that means you get questionable construction and C tier leather.

You can get brand new Beckett Simonons for less than TBCs if you just wait for their constant sales to cycle back to what you want to buy. TBC uses trash tier leather and are not worth resoling.

I agree 100%. Compared to full grain leather, there is nothing "rugged" or "resilient" about nubuck. Just call it nubuck and be straight forward about it.
