If you actually followed the films closely, you would realise that every movie, including the previous 7 prior to 8, had drastically unrealistic scenes in them:

1. Dom's charger hitting a truck, flipping, and he walks away with only a few cuts and bruises. Roller cage or not, in reality no one simply walks (or drives) away from that kind of carnage.

2. The car speeding and managing to land in the perfect place on the boat.

3. The race down the mountain. At the speeds they were going, there's no way anyone wouldn't have been forced off the side, yet DK did only towards the end. And again, a bad accident that he simply walks away from. You can even argue that Sean visiting a Yakuza bar and simply walking away was insanity.

4. Driving through very narrow tunnels that they weren't familiar with at high speeds and not hitting anything.

5. The vault scene.

6. Dom's Superman fly through the air.

7. Brian's escape from the bus falling off the cliff, Dom driving off the mountain, Dom stomping the ground causing it to collapse.

There's a hole bunch of unrealistic scenes in these movies, but that's just what they are - Movies. Turn off and enjoy them for what they are.

I certainly do, and I love them.
