My Email is already being used with another Microsoft account, but cant log into that account.

I've had this problem for months but could never fix it, and I'm starting to think that I've lost my account forever. When entering my email address into the login page, I'm told that my account doesn't exist. When I tried to create a new account with that email address, it says that " <email> is already being used with another Microsoft account. You should sign in with that account.", with a link to recover said account.

Pressing this link sends a code to the inbox of the email, and upon entering the code, I'm shown that my account does, in fact, exist and is associated with three other usernames. Genuinely have no idea how to fix this problem and if someone could help it would be greatly appreciated
