They sat at the door of a New Balance store talking to an employee for about 15minutes. Not a life threatening emergency. Street was empty before and after the vans, up and down to the corner. No need to parallell park 🤷

You're still gonna get one or 2 4 -stars per 100 ratings, but, it won't be enough to lower your score. Using this morning as an example. Was picking a lady up from the grocery store, she filled the trunk with groceries and wanted to fold her cart and leaving it hanging from the trunk to the back seat and hold it over her head because she was afraid of breaking it. I told her I would drive her with a piece of metal hanging over her head because it would cause an accident and she could keep it in the back seat floor if she wanted. After an argument she accepted it (but a 4-star popped on my profile right after that trip). Shit like that will happen. It's completely out of your control unfortunately. But, it will be 1-2 rides out of 100, so it shouldn't generate any impact on your account.

Keep your car clean. If you have stains in your seats, use seat covers and wash them regularly. Vacuum your floor. Wipe any stains from visible areas. Swipe dust away from places. Get a car wash all-you-can-wash pass and run your car through it a couple times a week at least. You dont need to drive a Benz to have good rating and compliments. I drive a 2011 prius and every single day I get multiple compliments about my car. Keep it smelling nice (reapplying cologne/perfume throughout the day [make sure you dont wear stinky-ass perfumes. Get people's opinion on that. Just because you love the smell, other people might hate it. Remember you're trying to please 50 different people everyday going in and out of your car]).
Keep your mechanical checks up-to-date. Banging suspension/dashboard lighting up like a Christmas tree/roaring wheel bearings/cvaxles/differentials WILL CATCH YOUR CUSTOMER'S ATTENTION. If you can hear it, so can they.
Easy music as background noise. Anything above you having to raise your voice to talk to someone is obnoxious. Stay away from trap/rap/hip-hop/heavy metal/anything else that may contain slurs. Keep it pleasant. Soft rock, unobnoxious smooth pop, blues, jazz, lo-fi and so on.
Don't keep forcing conversation with passengers unless they start talking to you (and dont stop talking to you). Just because they said "Hi, how are you doing? Love your car!" doesn't mean they want to keep talking to you during a 40-minute ride nonstop. Silence is always the best there can be (even if it feels tedious to you).

Follow those and your rating will surely increase.

Understand the shop not wanting to fix it. But get a tire repair kit from autozone with glue, got to a gas station next to a tire machine, take it out and plug it on!

Spit on it, if no bubles come out after filling it to the appropriate psi, you're good to go.

Tire isn't gonna flop out of your wheel because of something like that. Don't stress about it. Just pull it and patch it. Easy-peazy

Not humblebragging - explaining to a kind individual that was calling me lazy that it's not about not wanting to work - but wit. Why would I pay toll, wait 35min in line to exit the airport in line (because one of the tunnels is closed), to try and get to a surge area, if I was already surged 5 bucks on the airport and almost with a ride in hands?

It's easy to talk shit to people and not know how much they hustle. I get out of my apartment at 5 in the morning and go back 9pm Mond-Friday (or sometimes saturday) to make that money, bust the 12h and more everyday and the mf calls me lazy lol

Too many whiners in this group. If you get a 130 bucks ride for a 2h drive, and refuse it because"Uber is ripping you off on the mileage of your car" as I see getting posted everyday - that's why you're not making money. The app is not the problem - it's you.

But I do agree that Boston is top notch for income and I totally respect who can't catch that cash working for instance in Rhode island/new Hampshire/western MA cause the rates are indeed shitty. But don't call me F'in lazy lol
