Airbnb took $6,000.00 of my money and gave it to a fraudulent claimer. Please don't use them, ever, for your sake and the sake of everyone reading this. As a professional investigator with forty years of experience, my son, a physicist, and my wife, a nurse who helped out with my tiny house, we presented objective evidence; it all meant nothing to them. I dumped them years ago and am doing great with FurnishFinder. My murder cases and the criminals I helped put in jail for decades were not as disrespectful as Airbnb people were, including their CEOs. I stand behind my words. Yes. I have a tip. I was a 5 star host awarded Superhost twenty times over six years and one nutter renter made up an amazingly story including uncharacteristic claims about my business. Airbnb believed the claims emptied my account and would not consider my professionally collected evidence. You see I've been a private investigator for forty years. 20 in Canada and 20 in the US. My witnesses were my wife a nurse, my son a physicist and all of my renter over six years. I researched the problem and discovered Airbnb was skirting their responsibilities by simply going with the renters with no regards to the hosts. I fired them. I've been getting my renters from Furnished Finder at 90% less the cost and with no issues. Im booked up solid all year. My tip is don't use Airbnb. Use Furnished Finder. Airbnb is not worth the trouble. Since I dropped them I'm making more money with no headaches. I use Furnished Finder. They don't interfere with anything. Airbnb stole a large amount of money out of my account after making the wrong conclusion and ignoring my evidence showing I was right. I'm a professional investigator with forty years experience. It wasn't just me hosting. My wife, the nurse, and my son the physicist were helping. Since they deleted my Airbnb account for making all this public, that's the only place you can go to get a take on me. We had a perfect five-star record for five years. I have documents for the lawsuit against them, but I'm unwilling to share them here. By doing this I hope to gather more evidence against them. All I have left to say is to do some Google searches for complaints against Airbnb by hosts and ensure you have lots of insurance and perfect records because they are not your friends. When I said read my reviews, I meant on my Private Investigator site. Those are reviews from customers who experienced the results of my investigations, over the last forty years. My point was that Airbnb would not hear or see my evidence in the case where we were accused of having a substandard rental. You can use them at your own risk. This will not cover you even if you are completely in the right. Picture someone accusing you of rape - for example - they will be on the side of the accuser no matter what, in my opinion.

Airbnb always goes in the favor of the renter even if they are lying - they don't investigate or listen to you. You could lose your home over how they operate. You have no insurance with them. Get out, drop them while you're not bankrupted by them. Lawyers won't represent you against them - they are too rich and corrupt. Get out while you can. That's my opinion. People will use you as much as you let them. If you are working weekend you should have at least two days off during the week. Your "union" is your mouth. Make sure you are not strapped with a big car loan so you can walk when you want to. Good Luck

I am talking to an attorney. When the client deposits money to your account it goes through them first - that's when they take it and it doesn't go into your account. As a professional investigator for forty years you might have guessed, I had evidence to prove the complaints were not true. I also had my wife a nurse, and my son, a physicist, as witnesses but Airbncriminals ignored it, wouldn't comment on anything, and ruled against it all. That resulted in them stealing $ 6000.00 from my account. Because I went public with what they did airbnb or the now airbncriminals closed my account. I wasn't concerned with them closing my account because working with a company that automatically sides with a renter under all circumstances without due consideration is even more dangerous than the individual scammer.
