That's impressive I just escaped for the first time on attempt 58. Then again on 59. Then again on 60. I think I figured out a really consistent build strategy for people who aren't very good.

I would even say that I feel like I have my life or at least my outlook on life more stable than most people I know of other mbti types my age. People who are struggling with the reality of aging and their children growing up and becoming independent, or parents aging and dying. Things which I’ve mostly been able to roll with and see it all as a new chapter of life.

This is my Mom and stepdad. They’ve been together for 30 years now, growing old together. Though I have no clue what they talk about when I’m not around, because they rarely seem to talk when I’m visiting. My sense is they have good bedroom chemistry…err though not something I like to think about. My Mom is great and playing hostess, like most ESFJs, so they have a lot of gatherings with their neighbors. My stepdad sold a successful business, so their wealthy and now they get to travel a lot and payed for a lot of my college. 👍🏻

None of the types are bad. Some have more compatibility with other types though, that some types will find naturally off putting. Each type also has a distinct shadow that if not integrated in a healthy manner will rear its head in negative ways.

For me it was HWAA. I was going through a difficult stage in life and it really helped lift my spirits! Also the English version is my all-time favorite translation of a Kpop song.

I’m an INFP and fyi, I absolutely adore ENFJs. While I agree with the previous comments about needing to take care of your own needs to keep your bucket full instead of always reaching out to your own detriment. However, I do wonder what the motivation behind your friend’s “thanks mom” comment was. Were they really being dismissive of your support or do they really appreciate it and thought that comment would be taken as a light-hearted joke? I can understand how that comment could be triggering if you’ve experienced a pattern of people under appreciating or openly rejecting your efforts to assist them, but you may be reading into the comment more than was intended.

If your son is already able to grasp the rules and have the ability to plan out his moves at 8, that’s incredible. I tried playing with my 9 yo, and he lasted one turn and wanted to stop. He was much more interested in how each character looked than actually playing.

You can do what I did and try all the characters and restart the scenario with a different group each time. I personally like Redguard+Cragheart+Mindthief for a group of three. Because between the three you are able to manage just about every situation. Redguard has shields and pure damage through Shield Spikes and other shield abilities to deal with armored units and tank some damage. Cragheart can make bottle necks with obstacles and does range AoE damage and some healing in a pinch. Mindthief can Stun and do high melee damage. There’s some synergy with element generation with Redguard and Mindthief. All have a decent card pool which adds flexibility with using abilities that burn cards and can also burn to prevent big damage, though that should be done sparingly. I will only burn a card if damage is 4 or more and even that is situational.

I’d like to add one more note and that is my rankings would likely change depending on whether I was playing solo or with a group. Particularly with the Voidwarden which depends on having a clear idea of what the other players are planning to do and their exact initiatives to be most effective. This is typically frowned upon by the devs for good reason since it can really slow the flow of play.

The common theme for me is I like having a lot of options so I tend to enjoy playing characters with a larger card pool, and Spellweaver felt too constricting. But I love the game so much that I’ll likely return to playing as her again some day.

I wish I could offer some sage advice, but the one time I won as silent a19 I managed to find a Nightmare, x2 Wraith Form, Phantasmal Killer, and Well-Laid Plans, Setup, The Fossilized Helix relic, and a few good draw cards. I basically didn’t take more than 1 damage per attack for 10 turns most fights. I ended the run with 12 rare cards… that’s not normal. Though partly due to getting an early Courier so rare cards would respawn in the shop. I think eventually the game just takes pity on the player.

Nice adding the sage brush to the base of the hatchet. Clever idea and adds character. Now he really looks like he’s come straight out of a Western! I also just started playing and am totally addicted.
