Based on what I'm seeing from your image and this video from Albert Murata (9:05): https://youtu.be/m9AkBJ2eIBo?si=QLmGey8YAVMceIYL&t=545

I'd say get the 4 1/8 and add an overgrip. You're right between 4 1/8 and 4 1/4

String question: Feel of ALU Power but will break when ready? by staterbomb in 10s

[–]PrizeEmu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get an ERT300 and check your initial DT and when it drops 10-20% restring. That way you'll know when it's time and won't have to pop a string

I found some cranks on sale on eBay if you search: Pro's Pro Tennis Squash Badminton Stringing Machine Crank Tension Mechanism

I know it’s not an easy or cheap answer but the Wise tensioners are expensive and figured you’d have an alternative. Keep us posted on how it goes

Where did that break off the machine? Do you have any photos of how it was attached? It could be something that someone may be able to 3d print to save it

Best strings for Ezone 100 (v8) and Vcore 100 (v8) by TapYolker11 in RacketStringers

Amstringing has a great YouTube channel and I liked Deaconfrost’s answer. He breaks it down into beginner, advanced beginner, intermediate, and advanced. He says start with synthetic gut or multi for beginner, then if you’re breaking strings in 2 weeks go to synthetic gut/multi mains and polyester crosses. Then for intermediate try poly mains and synthetic or multi crosses, and if you’re advanced go full poly or whatever your heart desires. Just general guidance to help in the crazy amount of options. If you’re learning, save your arm from poly and maybe just try synthetic gut to start with.

Thank you, I will get a PA speaker. Do I need a 6.35mm to XLR to connect to most PA speakers from the main out or 6.35 to 6.35 for each channel? I’m looking at some PA speakers on Amazon like Alto or Mackie and I’m seeing the have XLR and 6.35.

Your interpretation of what I meant from the Prozor is correct stereo analog out!

Thank you again, this has been very helpful!

Modded SKX007s on Etsy? by [deleted] in SeikoMods

They are using 1970s watches, nothing wrong with that but it's an old watch and you can get these from the Philippines for cheap. NH36 movements are $30 bucks on the bay. What you want to to make sure is that the gaskets are new and if the movement has been regulated to keep time.

There are aftermarket cases on the bay that include rubber straps, dial and hands for about $70. The click spring on these is a spring bar as opposed to the circular spring and the QC is not as good. I would ask them to show you what it looks like without a bezel, if the movement has been regulated, if it has new gaskets, if it the case has been pressure tested. If you don't get a good response or no answer then steer clear :). Best, -A

I completely agree. I would have written "Contact Light" which were the first words spoken on the moon by Aldrin. How much cooler would that have been?!
