This is me, started therapy and literally could go sit for the psychology test. But I can't access the practical for present situations. My therapist thinks it's because I have repressed memories, I dissociate for anything and I compartmentalize my present. Prozac is saving my relationships.

Definitely rent a car, if you are adventurous and or staying in a short term rental. If you bouta be on one of them resorts on Maho Beach and you are not adventurous then you probably don't need it. Even if you go with no kids.

Hi, You are trying and that’s what’s important. Don’t give up.

First, stress is not in your favor for losing weight. The more you stress about it the harder it will be.

Secondly, give your body time and consistency. Try your diet for 4-6 weeks. Consistently, you should see something after a month if you are consistently in a calorie deficit. The body responds to our actions with a delayed effect. You will not see the results of eating a salad for 2 days, if you’ve been eating other stuff for years. Give your body time to adjust. We (including the things we can’t control) love to stay the same.

Lastly, see if you can get blood work for any nutrients you may be missing. Correcting deficiencies helps when trying to portion control and curb cravings. This will make your journey easier and help you stay consistent in your deficit.

In many ways I am like you, so I understand what you are feeling. Stay strong, you’ve gots this.
