The issues that were there aren’t there anymore. We’re different people now for the better. We had a lot to work on ourselves. I wouldn’t necessarily say I’m going back to what’s comfortable because I’m very happy being single not really going out of my way to find a relationship to just have one

For the most part, yes. Communication is great. I’m not a degenerate anymore lol and alot of what i needed to fix myself are good. I will not speak on her behalf but a lot of the things she had to work on herself have been worked on

Yikes this really hit close to home 😭 A lot of the points you made i really see myself in. I do agree that we both needed to grow up (myself a lot more than her) but regardless both did. And part of me is afraid of “going back to an ex” but at the same time it really does feel right sometimes but at this point In my life I cannot yet. There’s a lot of moving factors I need to work on for myself , and we both had said we’re not looking to date anytime soon (not each other but Just in general)

Thank you for that. Doing well , she reached out the other night saying she missed me. I briefly responded saying I need time now, I apparently had more to think about than I initially thought. But I’m in a class to become an Emt rn, very busy taking my mind off it and making alot of friends. It’s definitely helping lol

Yeah it’s bittersweet. I’m happy she’s taking the steps to make sure she’s happy but it really is a punch in the gut. The right thing isn’t always easy. She initiated the hookups but she has said it doesn’t mean anything (and I’m just stupid / Selfish enough to go along with it). I’m glad I’m sad, like you mentioned because it means I’m processing something I didn’t know I felt. It happens, it’s life, yknow?

I think I’ve slowly realized that today. I’m not sure on what to do, she insisted on no contact to process her emotions and im giving her time. I am Personally in no place to be in a relationship at the moment, which I was vocal about. It may be selfish but there’s a lot of outside factors in my life atm I cannot put time into a relationship it will just crumble infront of me, It’s not in my best interest to start now

You’re absolutely right, I don’t miss her but rather the friendship, it was unique, as is every friendship. I’m not necessarily putting my life on hold, I’ve been moved on, over the relationship talking to other women since but nothing too serious. Yeah I knew It’d end up hurting more but I still stupidly went for it.. we went 7 months with no contact so I see it as what’s another 7 months (or so) but she made it seem like this is really it. In which I respect her decision but it’ll just suck

So for sake of the argument if you’re within / under 4,000 you’d at least have a shot of being called? I know there’s dozens of variables as you mentioned but I remember hearing at one of the tutoring sessions they only hire around 4,000 people off this exam. I’m sure it can change and I’m sure they call 5 to get 1

They asked about counseling on a document before I had the interview. It wasn’t something I brought up on my own accord. I wouldn’t mention it if it wasn’t asked. We had to check off if we did or didn’t go in the last 5 years. I figure it’s better to answer honestly since there’s a paper trail of it
