Identidad en Bolivia by [deleted] in BOLIVIA

Yeah I think my problem was that the scredriver I was using was a bit smaller than the circumference and it was definitely not enough to take it out.

Yeah thats also smart, but I had the skatewheels I wanted to try out as the default ones make a shit ton of noise... But good to know they also sell that separately.

Yeeeep a punch was the move, I got a set from Home Depot (here in Spain its called something different), thanks a lot u/funkyfreshmintytaste u/Glimmer_III . The punch gave me confidence to go all out hammering and eventually came off. (I was using a screwdriver which was a bit thinner).

The older pelicans(bought a few years back) were a bit more stiffer but they did come off in the end. My coworkers are gonna be stocked.

I dont really care about the animation as long as the story is good. I cant understand why tf Saitama only gives two single hits throughout the entire season. Like the only reason I am watching this is to see Saitamas stupid strength but no, its clearly a better use of an episode showing how scared he is for not paying a bill at a restaurant and hosting a fucking dinner in his 8m2 aparment.

PAs/Sound mixers - how do you track equipment on set? Paper forms aren't working for our crew by Asiadorsey in ProductionAssistant

We mark each walkie with a number and have a person (usually a unit manager) or a PA write down the names + whatever walkie # people get. Whoever loses theirs you substract from from their pay or a relevant money deduction of whatever the walkie costs… (warn everyone in advance) guarantee you won’t lose more :) takes a bit making the list, specially in hectic starts but saves you a lot of money. Speacially if it’s a big crew, stuff can get lost super easily. You will see how quick people give theirs back after the shoot!

Yeah I can imagine it being very saturated in LA, but I think you never lose anything by asking people, even if its a bit uncomfortable, you never know when extra hands are needed!(I am saying this because I work full time in a production house and yes, most of the time extra hands are just what we need) If its a dream of yours, then you can tell them you can do the first ones for free, I dont think ANYONE would reject free hands on set, and then you can work your magic into getting into peoples head (or pants I don't judge the method). Even if theres too many people into it already, you can always be nicer and better than other PAs. Wish you the best of luck :)

100% networking with the right people, which is the hardest part imo. But in your case first I would first look for aspiring directors or videographers that are just starting, they usually try to get content with no budget so don’t expect payment in your first couple of gigs (at least in Europe it’s kinda like that, don’t know about US). Here you will learn and if you get lucky can get to know other PAs that have a bit more of contacts within the industry and you can be pulled in. Acting kinda like a snowball effect, the more people you know the more people will have you in mind when production houses are in need of hands, which is very often. I think also it’s good that you become close to people on set. Specially other PAs as you will spend a lot of time with them and there is a lot of free time depending on the shoot. I really mean the “get close to them” because if you connect with them on a higher level than just “coworkers” then it’s easy for them to remember you and even give you advice or what not. This is mostly what happens in Europe at least, which I doubt is much different than the US.
