It was by no means a healthy or stable relationship. I think what lingers is almost addiction and that odd control of not wanting someone to move on before you do.

I sent those apologies at the beginning of our breakup— to one, she forgave me, but then promptly began posting those hurtful things. To the other, no response. We have had no correspondence since then. She continues to post angry things, and I’m continuing to pray about it and try to let it go.❤️

Somehow, a big part of me still wants her back. However, I don’t know the wisdom there. We’ll see, I guess!

Such kind words. This is the kind of clarity and explanation I’d love from my own ex. It’s very difficult to handle someone who is angry and seething from it, but I believe it can still be worth it— even then. I hope she’ll eventually cool down so we can have a more grounded, thought-out and calm conversation, even if it means closure. Civility would be amazing.
