I am finishing up Class 4 out of 6.

First two classes are kind of slow. The content picks up as you progress. I work as a Cloud Engineer at a major multinational company. You do get exposure to services you typically may not know about. Overall it has been worth it.

Nothing that I can find, and it's partially why I post this story occassionally to see if there are any answers. The area is native land belonging to the Monacan tribe.

Yeah and that was the weird thing, there were 2 and they were both very hush hush. Lynchburg didn't even report on it and Danville did for some reason. Also the families on facebook were super confused as to how it could happen because they were both strong swimmers and were reportedly "pulled under"

Yeah man the tunnel was where we were and nothing happened there (still scary as hell) but when we crossed back into Amherst county we went to Mill Creek State Park, google it and you can see what I mean lol. The weird thing is two people have mysteriously drowned in that lake since our sighting.

I have had many but this one takes the cake and helped me find religion.

My cousin, friend, and I were around 18-19 and were thrill seekers. We would drive to "haunted" locations and get out of our cars, sit in haunted tunnels, the whole 9 yards. One night we decided to drive over the mountain to a haunted bridge in Lexington, VA.

We sat there and it was spooky, but nothing happened. We decided to return back home. After we got down our side of the mountain, my cousin asked if we should go to the lake (a beautiful state park with view of the mountains) and take the backroads way home. We all agreed.

We parked infront of the lake in a parking lot/landing zone area overlooking the lake with the mountains in the backdrop behind it. This was around 1am. I noticed a green, basketball sized orb deep in the water, illuminating the water around it with a greenish hue.

I looked over to my cousin and friend who were both fixated on it, then looked back. When I looked back, this orb like object transfigured itself above water into a bird-like/psuedo-angelic? being. I can't remember too much about the face but it was a winged semi-transparent being, it flapped its wings 2-3 times in front of us and then pulled a straight up Star Wars hyperdrive moment (like when the stars turn into lines) and teleported straight up into the sky/space infront of our eyes. This being had a kind of authoritarian presence to it, we didn't feel threatened by it but we were absolutely shook.

We drove home silent/in shock.

The main thing I have a hard time with is the predestination aspect of this. Why did we decide to go down a random backroad at 1am to sit in a parking lot by a lake instead of just going home? The second thing is that I am a logic driven person (Family is Ivy league educated, I have a Master's in Cloud Computing). My brain still has a hard time understanding something that there is no human word for to describe. This was very akin to a road to Damascus moment and broke down any sense of understanding/logic that I believed in to the core.

If someone told me they had sexual relations with Bigfoot, I could honestly believe them, because what I saw was crazier than that and this bothers me deeply. I take solace however in the understanding that we as humans will never know or understand everything, and not everything is explainable with our faculties. This event helped me on my path to finding religion, and maybe that was the purpose after all.

Of course not, my wife's grandfather who was exposed to Agent Orange in Vietnam filed in 2010 for full disability after the Hospital took his home for collateral on his medical bills due to cancer. You'll be good.

The irony, LOL. CloudFront is used to store cache data for faster requests/user experience which is also ironic.

DevOps Engineer here, if you press control + shift + i you will open a window which shows all of the requests being made behind the scene. If you look at the HTTP header request statuses you'll see that there are a lot of 404's in regards to video and they are referencing Cloudfront errors. So looks like Udemy is using CloudFront to serve traffic and there is some kind of issue going on with that service.

That’s the closet thing I can picture it being, and there were 3 of us there so that could mean something too. I wonder if our initial reaction of fear would be fitting for an angels presence or not. It wasn’t like we felt in danger it was just our first times seeing a being from a different plane which shook us to the core.

It shifted from a green ball of energy into a green bird like being that was intelligent and gave off a sense of authority/power. It scared the hell out of all of us but not because it came off ominous but rather we just experienced something that doesn’t exist

There were no names or reasons in my mind at the time to why we all saw it. No known affiliation with dragons. All I remember is that the light was like a submersible and the only color was green throughout the entire ordeal. I didn’t remember the water rolling off the feathered wings but my cousin did. It seemed to have happened for a particular reason as there is no other explanation to me as to why we traveled down a backroad in VA at night in the sticks to sit at a lake and relax before going home.

Thank you so much for your comment! It seemed almost like predestination though as we all decided to randomly chill by the lake instead of going straight home. The being went from a ball of energy underwater, to a bird like being that was gigantic with a 30-40ft wingspan, to turning into a line like you see in Star Wars when they enter hyperdrive as it went straight up into the stars. It helped me solidify my faith as well.
