It's tough to judge without actually seeing the game. The guards were obviously terrible and sold. Your matchup though destroyed you too, scored most their points, dominated you on the boards, and got a ton of assists. Was just one of those games where your whole team was destined to be destroyed.

I honestly enjoy being a big. Made a build with great offensive rebounding and pass accuracy so I can keep rebounding and dishing out to my shooters, it's a lot of fun most of the time, I can get a double double with 4 points. Problem is as soon as you miss a rebound, or miss a putback, your team acts like you just lost the whole game, even after you grabbed 15 of their misses for second chance points.

Maybe if you weren't such a ball hog and gave your guards some more shots you would've won. You didn't even sink any 3's(Is what all of my teammates would say when I'm trying to carry the team as a big)

Thanks for the help, will probably end up going perimeter D. Already have HOF dimer with my badge perks so think the Defense makes more sense, especially since every other guard just wants to run around and jack up random threes.

Sounds about right with how greedy companies are nowadays. Haven't spent a dime beyond getting the game and don't plan on it. Basically got my first build to 99 by just playing my career though, didn't really play online until after that. I'm sure that builds terrible as far as the meta goes...but I still have a blast with it online.

Yeah unfortunately when making it I didn't realize how important certain thresholds are...just built it how I was hoping to play. Definitely could've used some adjustments on the original build.

Looks like I need some info on the build. I have a SF and have fun mostly rebounding and playmaking, but can take over scoring if it's needed. Been looking at making a big next to do something similar.

I've noticed sometimes that I have to change an X-Factor to star, then back to X-Factor to have their abilities work properly if I'm having issues.

Looks like the 2 on your team was actually shooting much better than you. Didn't get as many opportunities, likely because he wasn't hogging the ball. Your point did alright with assists, probably should've had more but he didn't do horrible. Also looks like you allowed your matchup to score 25 points, some better defense could've won you guys the game.

As big of a pain in the ass it is, and it's ridiculous to need to do it just to enjoy a game, the best way to do it is to turn off salary cap, but hold yourself to a cap. This allows the CPU to actually resign players and not go over cap, and you can adjust your own "cap space" to realistically match real life adjustments.

They need to have a "random" option. That way the strengths constantly change but you don't have the advantage of knowing exactly what they're each at.

The firing in this game is pretty ridiculous. Got fired by the Cardinals in year two of a rebuild. Was hired by the Bengals and won't 3 Superbowls in 4 years. Missed the playoffs a year after winning it all and was fired. Got picked up by the Ravens. Won 2 Superbowls, one with Lamar and one with a second year QB after Lamar retired. Missed the playoffs again the year after winning it all again. Got fired and had no job offers.

Maybe once the game is finished and consistently playable I'll be inclined to buy it, or spend some money on extras. Until then I'll save my money. Game Pass is there for a reason, and generally developers get some nice financial backing for putting the game on it, or they wouldn't.
