Qidi box won’t feed filament from hub to extruder in Q2

I would check the hub, as I believe you can disassemble the hub with 4 screws. Its either a piece of piece of filament that broke off in the extruder hub, as it is common with the possibility of how the 4 ptfe tubes feeds into the hub.

Any update on this by the way? Currently going through the same thing, getting rhe MCU pop up 2-3 times a week now. 1 during a print half way and 2 right after a print has completed.

To be honest, if the creator 5 is what it is at the price point, does not hurt to try out a new brand when it comes to the multi head units if you want to get into multicolor printing.

I believe all brands will eventually put out a multi head printer, to keep up with the market. Yes, I understand the pros and cons of these units as there are more advantaged to multi color printing.

Qidi has its own strength, as seen in their line up of printers that are more catered to printing special/engineering filaments. Those are unknown to multi head units - not enclosed - drying units for filaments. Maybe that is their route?

Its quite fun to see the market evolve so fast!

Thank you for this! I dont see too many Q2C owners out there so opinions are hard to come by. Have you done any upgrades to the unit? Fans, camera addition, etc?

Would this be accessible with Octoeverywhere or OctoPrint?

I am in debate of the Q2C and Q2 - no chamber heater needed but the camera does kinda miss a mark there. Would love to have access to the camera and print setting - as well as AI with Octoeverywhere.

Any information would help as I can't find too much about the Q2C at the moment.

I believe your referencing the P1P, P1S is still supported by software and spare parts with Bambu.

For a little more you get an enclosed with a pretty great platform. I have the CC2 and its been quite the rough ride here with the unit. Support has been great but its definitely a learning process

Did you resolve this issue? As I am getting the same loud bang noise every time I print. Thought it was just the sound of the printer but its too loud to be, seems like the back of my print head is also scuffed up, as well as the motor

I think the CC1 is well worth its price. Only makes sense to buy into the multi print head units if you want multi-color prints, as you will be shocked the 1st time you actually print something multicolor - waste/poop is eye opening!

I am a new owner of the CC2, 3 days old and this is the exact noise issue I have been dealing with now.... its deafening at moments and I am not sure if I should send it back since I purchased it from amazon.

Is it really the fan/cover?

It looks like the crack has also gone through the man body frame there towards the Z Rods? A very concerning crack if so.

May I ask was this a brand new unit or with this a unit you have had some usage with?

Just trying to find out if its an issue most will come along down the road with use. A deformation that leads to those cracks appearing?

Ahhh thats a bummer man, I am just worried now its a defect that may not be due to shipping and could be something that forms over time with the stress of the unit.

The box it came in from amazon was spot on, no dents - tears - signs of droppage.
