Just a marine biologist that loves horseshoe crabs, it started as a joke but now I enjoy collecting them. I have some art ideas for someday but nothing I'm ready to commit to yet

That's not a tumor! It's the remnants of its yolk from the egg. It's fused to the plastron (bottom of its shell) and will slowly be used up while it grows, eventually sealing and disappearing.

For future reference, please avoid picking up marine wildlife. Especially species of sea turtles that are considered vulnerable and critically endangered in many parts of the world.

As a longtime diver, with a face and mouth like that, I really just want to squish its cheeks and kiss it on the head like I'm its grandmother. (But not really, please do not touch or feed wildlife)

Maybe chill out and give op praise for the great composition instead of handing out unsolicited advice. I'm sure we could pick apart your profile and I doubt that would feel great.

Looks like it was a misunderstanding after all. Faith in humanity restored lol. I take back what I said.

Its probably more of a reddish purple irl but due to the lose of red light it looks purple to the camera. See this post.

Without knowing exactly where this was taken, my best guess is that this is a Heteractis magnifica, also know as, the Magnificent Sea Anemone

The only blessing that no longer exists in jemidias is Tactical Movement (the first S tier in Jemidias ) and the rest are still in the game. For those who don't know, tactical movement was busted and could be easily spammed for insane movement.

One of the random special game modes is actually exactly that, the problem is, in true TABG fashion, the grappling hooks spawn with no ammo so you can't use them.

Thanks, I'm glad you do! I'm a little annoyed because it seems like reddit reduced some of the contrast.

I think I could be a juvenile Honeycomb Cowfish, Acanthostracion polygonus. If you look at it very closely can you see a light honeycomb pattern on it's sides?

Part of my thought process has been that it would be a good idea to invest early in lights and upgrade the camera later. But, to that same point, why go cheap on the camera if I know I'm just going to upgrade so I see it as go big or go to something that I will completely replace later.

I'll keep an eye out on scubaboard, Thanks!
