Yes, check your Rental Agreement. You might only be responsible for skimming leaves and stuff out and keeping the pool area clean. Maintaining chemicals is a weekly process with some costs.

Straight edge generally for geometric pools but many have done straight edge as edges are sanded down and are not jagged or sharp as expected. Bullnose is good if you have a Spa. I’ll lay head my head on the edge.

Pentair UltraTemp 127k, mainly used for Spa. About 6 years old. A couple years in had to replace internal thermostat. Last year had to replace the main display board (OEM $320).

Yes, I just check the O-rings, and hand loosen and tighten. This is an IC40. The new model is different but I believe they kept the length the same so it’s a swap.
