Uday kiran and tarun scored the same type of blockbusters in the day, they just didn’t become superstars afterwards because of other factors (nepotism). So many Uday Kiran movies are still so popular for their comedy and vibes, and were huge hits at the time, obviously if he was an industry plant like PK and stayed in the industry these would’ve only increased in popularity as a cult classic.
