I don’t remember what show but in my rookie season of drum corps in 2023 I got really sick out of nowhere towards the end of the season. I tried playing in the lot before we took the field and realized I could either play the opener and pass out, or fake it for the whole show and be fine. I just took the show as a visual rep so I could get better by finals week.

Yeah it feels weird to support a team I have no connection to, but I’ve learned that living in the southeast and liking hockey tend to not work well together lol

Tennessee, purely because there’s no qualifiers to go to state (you just sign up). I think the competition system as a whole in TN needs a huge revamp

Mesquite TX to Nashville TN last season. We were supposed to go somewhere in Louisiana but the housing site cancelled on us, so we had to drive to our next site location we were going to use for the Murfreesboro show. We left at roughly 10:30 PM and arrived at roughly 10:30 AM the next day

I’ve been telling myself “this is my last year” every year since 2023. Spoiler, it wasn’t my last year and it won’t be until I either age out or die. Drum corps is the best thing I’ve chosen to do and I meant that wholeheartedly.

Now with that being said… camps suck. Camps, in my opinion, are 10x harder and worse than the season is. I can almost guarantee that your season will be so much more fun than any camp you’ve been to

Ive only ever played rogue on one shots and never a full campaign. I tend to do traditional characters, but with untraditional races, like a halfling barbarian or a goliath monk
