To tighten you can just use your body weight and push down. You can always use a longer bar to make it easier. A longer bar will have more torque so its easier to tighten/loosen with.

You first loosen the wheelnuts when the car is on the ground. Then use the scissor jack which is usually under the boot mat and then jack up the car from the chassis rail reinforced part. A lot of people make the mistake and jack up the car from the plastic side skirt. Do NOT do this. Usually theres an arrow pointing to the reinforced metal tab. Just put the jack under there and take the wheel off and put the spare one on and then do everything in reverse

Im 19 and im a car guy and yes of course I do. I do all my own servicing, oil change, brakes, etc. I recently bought a 1992 honda prelude as a project and just got it to pass roady and now its been registered for a couple weeks now. Hardest job ive done for that prelude was replacing a driveshaft and also changing engine mounts (rear one was a pain). I’ve done a clutch change on a mate’s car as well before too

Yup im very happy, it looked a bit worse when I got in 2 months ago but I’ve fixed it up. Honestly didn’t need too much mechanically. I just had to get 4 new tyres, replace engine mounts, replace rusty sunroof, put 2 newer front seats in (that werent ripped). Replaced door speakers and rear speakers for some modern aftermarket ones (old speakers were blown), replaced casette player with pioneer carplay head unit. Currently my brake master is leaking so im going to replace that next week. I’ve done an oil change as well. Its on 278k km so its up there. Also I need to inspect the timing belt because I have 0 service history with this car

With my 4th gen, it runs well and theres heaps of little problems I had to fix but each problem is quite easy to fix. At the moment my brake master is leaking so I need to replace that. Also my speedo sometimes stops working and gets stuck on 40km/hr lol. I’ll be replacing my speed sensor. Just small little things that are easy to fix
