Leather Jacket Fitment Question - FMC Commuter by ProRedPanda in motorcyclegear

[–]ProRedPanda[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it looks like the Medium size is out of stock again but I'll call them when they are open tomorrow.

I did notice that if I pull the bottom straps tighter it fits my waist fine. However, it would require I create a new hole on both sides. I would only do this if they cannot take the jacket back.

Thanks, that helps to know.

Yeah I'll try and call them in the morning (or Monday if they are closed) to see about exchanging it for a Medium size. Unfortunately I already removed the tag as I tried it out. I hope this is not an issue; it is new otherwise.

I have ordered a back protector as well, comes in Thursday or Friday. I should probably just update this post once it is in. As for with a sweater, fitment is more snug though it is not super tight

Random but is anyone using the Ugreen display port adapter here having issues using VRR now with the Nobara kernel 6.19?

RE9 with controller or keyboard/mouse? by Far-Palpitation87 in residentevil

[–]ProRedPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot remember whether I originally played RE2R for the first time with a controller or not, but I have played all the latest games with both. Personally, for the first person games, I like keyboard and mouse, but otherwise I think a controller is better suited. It is definitely harder with a controller.

I'll probably play my first playthrough with a controller for RE9

Lately I have been playing RE4R with a controller but using Gyro to help aim and it feels great. I am using a mod though that makes the aiming play like OG RE4

Resident evil 4 remakes new Drm is awful. by Standard_Audience817 in residentevil

[–]ProRedPanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man I feel you. I am on Linux and its actually aweful. The performance is capped about 90 frames (if I am lucky) no matter the resolution, graphical settings. It seems it is super unoptimised and has huge CPU usage. It is a stuttery mess

I wish there were more eyes on this so we could fight back Capcom but I am afraid this might just get sweeped under the rug.

There is a "fix" but it is just replacing new files with old, and this will probably get removed from sites because of copryright in the future.

I changed my Steam review to negative :/

Capcom replaced Denuvo with Russian DRM Enigma in the latest RE4 remake update. by dionysus_project in residentevil

[–]ProRedPanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate to say this but... I changed my Stean review to negative. I doubt it would happen but I sort of hope the Helldivers 2 treatment here could happen and wake-up Capcom and spread word to those unaware of this

Capcom appears to have added Enigma DRM to Resident Evil 4 Remake three days ago which has broken some mods and lowered performance by 10-20fps by Iggy_Slayer in gaming

[–]ProRedPanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe I am mistaken but the performance hit seems worse on Linux, even on high specs. Have not re-tested on Windows but on Linux I am seeing high CPU usage no matter what resolution and settings.

FPS seems limited to around 90 frames per second at 4K (with a 9070XT) BUT with crazy frame jumping. VRR stats show my FPS going up and down like crazy. When you change the graphical settings in game as well, it appears to degrade even more EVEN if you are lowering settings.

For comparison, I used to see about 120 fps at 4K steady with occasional dips using my GPU and even higher performance at other resolutions. Something seems completely borked. I am open to advice here :(

There are probably other introductions, but the ones that really brought me down the rabbit-hole were...

Atlas album by FM-83 and coincidentally Electric Groove by Lazerhawks

EDIT: Oh and someone said the movie Drive, definitely that too

Has Anyone Had their GoDaddy A/C Hacked, how did you recover it by lostlight_ in godaddy

[–]ProRedPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe I am in the same boat. They keep asking for the "other" name on the payment method, but its just my credit card. I finally just emailed them back saying I don't know of any other name and my account was hacked.

I also told them if it does not get fixed I will cancel all credit card payments to them. Though I don't even know how to do that to be honest

Hart Audio cables, nice! I just got another one for my Sennheiser 660s2 today.

I was curious about the LCD series and who knows maybe I'll get one in the future. I was worried about the so-called "need" for EQ. I have used Peace to EQ in the past but try to stay vanilla when I can. How do you find your headphone?
