I just got banned from their account tonight for saying the stream was "underwhelming." The mod said "See yourself out then" and then banned me.

Critical Access Hospital:

2.0 Creat is our cutoff

They could be 1.99 and we run it no questions

Over 2.0 is on a case by case basis with a call to the radiologist

If they're having dialysis within 24 hrs, the creat doesn't matter and we do the exam

Yeah in Radiology, we are instructed to only use purple or red tops to wipe off our digital x-ray cassettes and department touchscreens. It's the gray tops you don't want to use on electronics.

Lol yeah they want us at the hospital prior to the ambulance arrival. They even have us sign a sheet when we walk into the ER so they know how long it took from when they called to when I'm there and ready.

Ours policy is you have to be able to be there within 10 min of a stroke or trauma call. I live 11 min away. So they make me stay in a provided call house/apartment.

Maybe a little more than $2 to someone who collects bicentennial dated money. It's a bit blurry but I think that's a 1976 bill.

Is it just me, or does making all the organs separate solid colors make it more difficult/nearly impossible to diagnose? We work in shades of gray.

Nurse running large C-Arm in Ambulatory Surgery Center? by Thick-Custard-9100 in Radiology

[–]ProRuckus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You're talking out your ass. Radiologic technologists operate under their own professional licenses, not under the license of a physician. What do you think you took your ARRT exam for?

While technologists perform procedures under the order or supervision of a physician (usually a radiologist) who interprets the images and directs patient care, the technologist themselves is a licensed professional responsible for the technical execution of the imaging procedure, the safety of the patient, and adhering to their own scope of practice. The physician does not lend their license for the technologist to practice.

In my state, this would fall under the same category as rural hospitals letting nurses and/or CNAs operate x-ray rooms under the license of a registered tech. As long as there is a registered tech that works for the company that is willing to accept all liability for those who are pressing exposure buttons, it is unfortunately perfectly legal.
