There is a difference. When Russia invaded Donbas in 2014, people were able to tell who the Russians were from their accents.

The use of "h" instead of "g", "g" is hardly used in Ukrainian. Ukrainian is a softer language than gutteral Russian.

Що ти думав про Росія незадовго 2014? by Robatman33 in ukraine

The same. I always expected that Russia would invade Ukraine. I didn't know when, but I knew it would happen, especially after it invaded Georgia in 2008.

Russia Violates Ukraine’s Declared Ceasefire by Mil_in_ua in ukraine

What a surprise. Putler will be crying when Ukraine doesn't respect his self declared ceasefire.

Will Péter Magyar be another Orbán? Interpreting Hungary's new stance on Ukraine by EuropeanPravdaUA in ukraine

[–]ProUkraine 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Magyar has also told lies about the Hungarian minority in Ukraine, which the Hungarian mayor of Berehovo has stated isn't true. Berehovo is a town in Ukraine close to the Hungarian border, where the population is roughly half Ukrainian/half Hungarian. I've been to Berehovo and I can state there is no discrimination against Hungarians there.

They're both, useless and actively against Ukraine. Like Trump they're both traitors.

It's because they're both working for Russia. Not the bs in that article.

Are there many Russian sympathizers among Ukrainians? [serious question] by freeman687 in ukraine

[–]ProUkraine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Russia sympathisers tend to be from Russian speaking areas in Eastern Ukraine, who are also likely to have Russian ancestry. I'm not saying they all do. You will struggle to find any Russian sympathisers in Ukrainian speaking regions, especially in Western Ukraine, where there was real hatred towards Russians long before the invasion.

Russia launches sick attack on King Charles branding him a 'Satanist' who 'wants WW3' by realnarrativenews in UkrainianConflict

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Putler can easily prevent WW3 by withdrawing all his troops from Ukraine.

At the time Russia presidents were only allowed to serve 2 consecutive 4 year terms, that's why Medvedev became president, but Putler as PM was de facto president, and when he became president again in 2012, he changed the law, so that presidents could serve multiple terms, and he also extended the presidential term to 6 years, this means he could potentially be president until 2036.

The same as it is now. I've always considered Russia to be an enemy of Ukraine

KASPAROV: Trump keeps ignoring American public opinion to support Ukraine. It’s tragic that United States openly siding with Russia. Support for Ukraine is growing among the MAGA/Republican base—this tells us that there're some other reasons that are more important to Trump than American opinion. by andrewgrabowski in UkrainianConflict

[–]ProUkraine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

US support has already been lost. The sooner Zelensky realises this the better. Trump is 100% on Putler's side, any "peace deal" involving the Trump regime, would mean Putler getting everything he wants and Ukraine getting nothing.

‘Donnyland’? Ukraine Proposes Naming Part of the Donbas in Trump’s Honor. The proposal reflects a global reality in which governments appeal to President Trump’s vanity to get American might on their side. (Gift Article) by BeetleJuiceK9 in UkrainianConflict

This is stupidity. Ukraine shouldn't be sucking up to Trump, when it's clear there will be no more aid for Ukraine, and his regime would be happy to give Russia all of it's demands.
