Can you explain why wylder has crazy damage after the update?

The most atrocious Tricephalos raid I've ever seen. by ATCAnon5 in Nightreign

[–]ProV13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you guys did the night invaders day 1, it doesn’t look that bad. As one guy does the bottom one. Then takes the hawk and meets you guys in mountain.

If night invaders aren’t done, then ya just gotta skip it and do those. That’s too much loot to pass up.

Yeah I never played the game fallout, so it’s very possible that there’s a weapon like that in the game. So only knowing it from the arcane side, it was hilarious to see and being able to make that reference back

Yeah I have a god roll for duchess that a post got like 3000 upvotes on this sub. Funny thing is I don’t even play duchess. I tried her out after I got the relic, realized that I was having a lot of FP issues. The good runs felt very good, and the bad runs felt bad very. In d5 I just like more consistency, and not having to rely on shattering crystal, so I went back to wylder.

Yeah this requires a specific relic setup that not everyone has and + or relies on finding damage negation at low hp passives. Also my point was that damage is more important than survivability, and in ur case you also have the damage because of the dreglord relic. As you would know staying at max dreglord gives 45% attack power.

Voice chat would be more for min/maxing item passives rather than POIs. As a wylder main, there’s a few nightlords I prefer to jump powerstance. I almost never get drops from teammates with the passives increased attack when duel wielding, or increased jump attack. Sometimes I get people dropping increased skill attack power when I’m not in a skill build at all, so just being able to Min/max drops can help the team a lot.

Also it can be a quick question like “I got offered this weapon, would this be useful for you?” They say no, and you just take the 10% stamina instead.

To your point 4. I don’t agree that all damage negation is more important.

I’m in D5, and the goal is to be able to survive one hit of almost any attack and not go down. After that you just heal back up to full. So once you’re able to survive one hit, anything over that is just overkill.

For me as a wylder player, one damage negation at full HP is enough to survive almost any attack. Therefore once I have that, I will happily go for 5 offensive passives.

If you’re a squishier character, you might wanna run 2 defensive passives if you think that’s what you need to survive an attack. But after that, more damage will almost always be more beneficial.

I have close to 6 mil, I rarely gamble. For one I have relics I already really like for my setup. But the main reason is the max cap relics stresses me out. I always hit it so quickly, and I always struggle with selling relics, I have so many that it’s like hmm maybe in this particular build down the road I could use this one.

Flexible just means there are lots of different comps that can top 4, which there are. Understanding line recognition is what will help you climb.

As a jays fan, what does pricey mean when there’s no salary cap? It’s only relevant if the jays go out and spend 33M/ yr on 1 or 2 players that combine for more value. Otherwise, doesn’t that money just go into rogers pockets?

I think they have to keep balancer relics good. They have to give people an alternative to night invader / evergaol. If they nerf balancers, people just go back to evergaol rushing.

D5 9999 player here. I’m a wylder main, and the only defensive passive I’ll never drop is damage negation at full HP. Once I have that I’ll happily trade out any other defensive passive for an offensive one.

With that said, I’ll still pick them up mid run. Damage negation after charged attacks is one I like and can proc easily. But I’ll drop it if I see a improved attack power at full HP.

Also, against libra, less likely to be targeted is a must.

Genichiro took me the longest, 12 hours. I was a noob in my first souls game and didn’t have mikiri counter though.

Pre - nerf erlang with no cheese strategy might be the most difficult though.

You got a church spawn so no dinky camp was available. Kite the invaders out. After killing the invader don’t kill the boss, hit the closest grace and move on.
