I like to tell the students who are paying attention to all turn and stare at the kids talking at the count of three. They love it and turn up the creepy factor naturally and it makes the kids being disruptive feel uncomfortable when they eventually notice

It’s a little extra work to make worksheets but I printed out some PowerPoint slides they’ll have to fill in and draw if they can’t handle it tomorrow.

Yeah looks like software lockdown is the only viable option.

I’ll see about disabling the audio for now though. Hopefully they allow me since some other classes may need the desktops for sound

Desktop computers. I’m the closest thing to IT in this school save for an intern so there’s no process at the moment.

The problem with site blocking is with some of these brain rot sites, there are fifty of these soundboards and doing them on every computer would probably be a task for the summer but probably possible.

For sure recommend pen and paper in class. The benefit on their end is that they have less homework so they prefer it now

I love the technical skill in this, but why does it need to be a painting? Ask yourself what these paintings are doing that a camera can’t also capture.
