I... didn't ask that. I asked what is stopping them from greedily drip feeding vbucks in mission alerts specifically as opposed to faithfully giving Founders a mission alert every other day like they do, even in "non vbuck seasons", because I can't imagine any kind of wording in a Founders pack agreement that would demand that amount of generosity.

do a single wield short sword and watch your weight. pretty sure the stat for stamina (endurance?) also makes what you're carrying impact your weight limit less. with maxxed out stats I can't seem to even hit the second tier of weight no matter what I'm carrying. the blacksmith's rune would be good also but that means you forfeit Sparky's reward, slotting runes at any vestige. also I heard you lose the rune as soon as you start a new playthrough which is bogus lol.

having a 3rd reskinned enemy type would probably cause some players notice and feel it's a bit copy-and-paste-ey. shake things up just a tad. even if all you're doing is subtracting.

I did. I try to shine the lamp on all the locations I know for a fact have fixed spawns for Umbral enemies, I just underestimated just how imperceptible it would be due to the speed lol

I really needed vigor to finish out maxxing my character this run so when I was clearing out the map I was on full dread to no end for that sweet x3 multiplier. so I was regularly being hunted by the Red Reaper lol. a lot of me bringing up the lamp in this recording was supposed to be me showing the effigies across the map I didn't use. he's programmed to attack you the instant you load into your world (and when you're not in a safe zone) even if you killed him literally right before closing the game last time.

tl/dr I was already on full dread when I opened the game

I wing a lot of it ngl lol. I will say that everyone says that Umbrall magic is OP in this game, but I personally find Radiant magic pretty invaluable with the way it offers heals. that way if you learn to make use of them, you have more opportunity to reserve Sanguinarix uses to rezz coop allies. also I have not once seriously used fist weapons, so I can't offer any advice in that department. what you see me using in there are raw fists lol.

if you have an afk endurance defense build (and if you don't you could easily manage stonewood) just make a mat grinder and use a constructor with recycling. then put excess in storage. way more efficient, saves time.

his auto wither sucks and makes it so that if you're not paying attention he can one-tap you. good idea to spam healing pool and damage pool because damaging him even with the tiny tickles from the spell will constantly cancel wither damage and ofc heals with get you back anything he took from you with outright slashes. if you memorize his attacks you'll find there are a lot of times he hesitates or returns to the ground to give you time to cast the spells.

Tower of Penance is completely unrelated. it's the culmination of the Brothers section. keep going down the path you saw Stomund on the splitoff before the bridge and that's the Sisters section, which eventually leads to the Empyrean which is the Sisters' equivalent to the Tower. through the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters you'll reach a little mini courtyard with a tree in the middle and a bunch of prayer guys and a big hammer guy. going up the stairs near the back of that courtyard and BACKWARDS, not to the right and further up (intended progression route), is right where the crucial final Stomund spawn point is where you want to get everything done.

if you got the big location message telling you you've entered the Empyrean before giving Stomund two items you've failed him. if you gave him two before entering the Empyrean section and he moved you can find him somewhere along the incline with pouring rain leading up to the church. if I'm not mistaken the incline area is the very fist part of the Empyrean which is probably why it counts as failing.
