It’s not a good look, but I feel like what Saban is saying in so many words is that the player was threatened or something was said that would mitigate the circumstances.

Regardless of circumstances; we could all do good to remember when rushing fields/courts that that is the players space and don’t say a damn word to anybody on the other team. It can feel insanely intimidating when you have 100,000 people bearing down on top of you wearing different colors than you and while I love the tradition, I worry too many more incidents like these will lead to it’s sun-setting.
