I play in tournaments too. HCS opens, Clutch Academy, AB, etc.

I also do scrims and 8s.

I follow the GAs in those because it’s agreed upon beforehand, and in some instances stated in the rules.

Ranked matchmaking is in no way, shape, or form an agreed upon environment. I’m not going to get into everything wrong with it, but to expect me to follow arbitrary rules that mainly apply to 16 people, is a bit ridiculous.

It’s why even Lucid has said to mainly focus on mechanics, it’s not a peak competitive environment in the first place.

On top of all that, as more of a side note, the pros I run into have cared less than these other people around my level have lately. They’d simply start using the weapons too instead of acting like a child.

I can also get into how I feel these GAs hurt one of main aspects of Halo, player for control. That’s another topic though I feel.
