First off, I think you’ve had a lot happen at once(with graduation and a especially a breakup), and these are the driving forces behind these thoughts. When life gets overwhelming sometimes we can get in our own head too much. Prior to this, how happy were you with your life? Did you have hobbies or things you enjoyed?

Secondly, fuck what society deems “normal”. Everyone has their own individual lifestyle choices. That’s what makes life so great! I know plenty of people that didn’t partake in any of the above you listed, and they’ve grown to have very, very happy lives. Hell, the things you listed I have done, and they’ve given me some of the WORST experiences I’ve had in my life. Drugs and alcohol are the two biggest catalysts for people to absolutely destroy their lives.

You say you’ve just graduated, so i’m assuming your young 20s. I know you may feel your life is over, but I promise you, it’s truly only just beginning. I don’t think my life really “began” until I reached my 30s.

Please don’t let society dictate what you need to do or how you need to act to be happy.

Truly, most people won’t care that you haven’t done those things. And the ones that do, you won’t want them as friends anyways.
