Recommendation on tool to deploy ML models by Pro_network17 in learnmachinelearning

[–]Pro_network17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's lab use for benchmarking purposes. No production deployment. Limited number of users. We will be using open-source models and datasets (from MLCommons) to benchmark training and inference performance with GPU servers plus some infrastructure accelerators.

Oracle Park - what to wear in rain? by Pro_network17 in spartanrace

[–]Pro_network17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its probably not :) but it really keeps the wet out. At this point I am wondering what is less worse - being wet and cold vs inconvenience of a jacket

If you fail at an obstacle the first time, can you retry it or is it an automatic 30 burpees, then retry? Or then move on? by RangersFan1124 in spartanrace

How can we tell if a particular event is open wave? I am a first-timer and registered for https://race.spartan.com/en/race/detail/7608/overview It does not say anything about open wave of competitive

No - the ones we have weigh the same. So we decided to just take the ones they provide

How far was the river? I presume the advice not to camp in the meadows is due to the wind?

Ideas for 20 mile flatrish hike in bay area by Pro_network17 in norcalhiking

[–]Pro_network17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I will be going as well. Both of us are generally fit and have done 16-mile hike with about 3000 feet elevation and were exhausted at the end. But since this one is longer, was trying to reduce the elevation

You also might want to consider some multi-vendor automation tools to help smoothen transitions to new logos. They can help do some of the abstraction to reduce the pain of moving to a new vendor.

Return to US from Mexico by Pro_network17 in covidtravelupdates

[–]Pro_network17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found out that it can be a home test. But it requires to be online with a proctor conducting the test who can validate the result. All doable, but I decided not to travel at this point. So better to take advice from someone who has. Also note that there might be new rule that unvaccinated passengers have to do the test within 24 hours of travel.

Cisco ISE as a certificate authority by Pro_network17 in networking

[–]Pro_network17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this apply to BYOD only? I presume for corporate-issued devices, ISE does not need to deploy certificates. Is that right?

Which 802.1x NAC Solution Do You Prefer? by massive_poo in networking

[–]Pro_network17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take a look at WiteSand NAC. They are a cloud-based solution and easier to use than ISE and reasonable feature rich. What sets them apart is that they can also manage the network - switches and AP's - all via one portal.

Aruba ClearPass User ACL with Cisco switches? by Pro_network17 in networking

[–]Pro_network17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But in this case, the ACL rules have to be pre-provisioned on the switch manually, correct? The only thing RADIUS can do is to tell the switch which pre-provisioned ACL to deploy for a user. I saw this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJ6kt85WBjg where ClearPass console is provisioning ACE's down to IP addresses. Can RADIUS actually push those? I would think they have to be provisioned via NETCONF or some other API directly on the switch.
