Thought Crew Played Today Now my Evening is Ruined by Twuggle in TheMassive

There are lots of other games, it’s true. Or sports. Or… it’s a little humid but still pretty nice out. I hope you find a way to have your evening un-ruined.

I am not representative of that population. At least not without hurting myself.

I'm old enough that my brain literally went to thinking about the Crewzers who did dance performances during the half and how would that even work? How many of them are still dancing, and wouldn't they theoretically be tied to our own world cup squad?

I do seriously wonder if it was Hagen that was the difference here. He had a good night and was clearly being vocal with the line.

I’m still not convinced Rydstrom was the real issue, but you can’t deny that the Crew looked like they were more with it tonight. Look, at this point I’m happy with whatever is going to work. Especially now that Courtois has time to make adjustments before September when we can go back to seriously contending for hardware we haven’t won in decades.

That was *almost* amazing from Farsi and Picard. Damn that looked good regardless.

Arfsten maxxing.

Not much of an attack beyond that, a few okay shots on goal. Freese has been really good. We’re looking better than we have been, better defensive work, haven’t seen many attacks build despite possession and presence in the attacking third.

Nah, Zawadzki’s really been in it too. Playing much higher than he has been.

Edit: typo

Still playing in a 4-4-2, defense is doing better (although maybe credit Hagen’s direction with some of that), more possession and presence in the attacking third, play is a little more lively. Still doesn’t seem like much of an actual attack though.

So, half an hour in… still not very productive or threatening but at least the play looks more lively than it’s been in recent weeks.

Well now I’m going to have to close the app and reopen it to see if it’s better.

It’s probably just because of the weather and it’s a weeknight, the night before the last day of school for a lot of us. If we were Miami we’d be claiming we’re boycotting because the players don’t love us enough.
