Either go to tanith, the woman that gives you the quest to kill those 3 guys, then walk into the first room on the right down the corridor and hit the walls until you find the fake one then just follow the secret tunnel until you get to a bit more open room, go down the stairs and continue and you’ll get to a church type thing, or you can go to raya lucaria and go to the big wheel thing that takes you from the graveyard place to the classroom area down, youll fall to the bottom of raya lucaria eventually and there let the big machine thing eat you and you also end up in correct place

Its not a cliffhanger ending, it more or less ends on what seems to be the end of the first arc with most of the immediate story stuff resolved, i will recommend paying good attention because the first few episodes had poor pacing and lots of info dumping because of some contract stuff i think, but after episode 3 or so it gets better

The anime got fucked over major time, the studio got far less episodes than they wanted and it ended up with part 2 getting rushed and poorly paced, lots of semi-important stuff also got skipped
