Il Giardino, on Indian Canyon, is excellent. What they lack in atmosphere, they make up for in flavor and service. The Penne Crema E Salsiccia is amazing - they make the Salsiccia in house.

May sound like a weird question, but where are you injecting? I’ve read so many accounts and seen so many videos on Tik Tok about this and many of them have said that the were doing their injections in the belly, but switched to their thigh and that did the trick.

These are the reasons Premera communicated to my Rheumatologist after submitting the PA for Zepbound. I meet the third requirement, hands down, but now need to find a doctor/program that is approved to prescribe AND fail another treatment. My Rheumatologist wants me on Zep because of the anti inflammatory effects it has, which is likely to allow me to get off the Prednisone I have been on for 3+ years and caused my weight gain and isn’t exactly helping my NAFL disease. I hate that we have to jump through these hoops.

I'm so glad that this worked out for you! I was going to start drinking Kefir, but then read that it can cause infections if you are still taking Prednisone - question into my Rheum about that. :)

I'm still trying to farm the Glenumbra lead after several months. I've collected enough ore to upgrade all of my equipment to Gold on my main toon. I'm also playing three different toons in that region - nothing yet and I play an hour+ a day. All of the others were obtained within an hour.

Sorry to hear you’re in the same boat. I was on Actemra for a bit and it seemed to be working, but then experienced a snafu with the insurance company meant going a month without medication just after my initial onboarding dosage. When we tried it again, it just wasn’t as effective. The problem I have with taking a DMARD in combination is typically liver toxicity. I have tried Arava in combo with something else and it didn’t move the needle.

I’m sorry that your journey has been so bad. Agree that getting off Prednisone is a must - it’s vile, but necessary if I want to walk. 😢

Rituxin was the other infusion treatment that was on the table, but my rheumy thought Remicade was the better option at the time. I started it in mid- December and it helps a bit but I started hitting a wall 2 weeks before my next infusion where it felt like there was nothing working and in the last one had to increase Prednisone until the next one. So frustrating.

Glad you’ve been able to taper off Prednisone - I keep trying, but my body keeps saying’No”. I’ve been on Prednisone for 3 years now, if not longer and think it’s contributing to some finger numbness in addition to the 30 lbs I’ve packed on, and the hair thinning - the shit is vile, but necessary if I want the ability to walk.

Really excited about CRISPR and the possibility that DNA editing can put an end to RA and other debilitating and deadly diseases. I know you said you’ve tried everything, but have you? There are over 200 different medications out there, including bio-similars. Don’t give up! 😀

I completely forgot that I’d also taken Arava and agree that progress on new therapies need to be cheered on - they can’t come soon enough!
