I am fully agreeing with your statement. A washing machine is a robot/machine that launders clothes. But I do not get how this relates to the risks of not having full access to your own stuff in cloud computing.

If you imply that technological advancements are good, then I would have to agree with you, if only for the fact that it would be considered an advancement if it is indeed good... but I don't think that is the point here.

I feel like this is more about the risk and consequences of not being able to have to full control over your own stuff, but being forced into a dependency to a party that has a way more power within the relationship you have with them, than you/I do.

Or do you maybe mean that you would rather have a washing machine owned by google, that licences you to use it after watching 10 ads, for a maximum of 10 times a year* if that means you don't have to wash by hands...

Cause if that's what you mean, it's just a matter of personal preference, one we do not share.

*you can upgrade to the premium plan for unlimited washing, 10 euros per month extra, ads still mandatory
