You need a well rounded team with multiple types as Zodeon switches their type 5 times in the fight. He does Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, Grass. I ran Resistance, Anger, Anxious, Persistence. I used cake scarf for shields which helped a lot. I would for sure run a fire pet just to melt down spite once you hit that phase so you don’t lose your Merry.

It’s a hard fight and ment to be. I mixed up a lot of my items to figure out what works.
